Caring for Your Oriental Rug
In order to maintain the beauty of your oriental rug, it should be vacuumed weekly, being careful not to damage the fringe. Keeping your rug out of direct sunlight will keep it from fading and rotating it semi-annually will help even out the wear.
It is recommended your Oriental rugs have a professional cleaning once every 1-2 years, depending on the traffic that the rug receives.

Our Rug Cleaning Process
Every rug we clean is examined first. Once that is done we start the cleaning process which consists of the following:
Once the cleaning process is complete, your rug is then placed in a special monitored room with a clean, dry atmosphere. Dehumidifiers and fans are used to insure your rug is 100% dry with no damp spots before we wrap it for return delivery to you. We can also package your cleaned rug for long-term storage.
Alterations and Repairs
If your older Oriental rug is in need of some TLC, we can handle that too.
For example, we can replace the fringe on a rug or we can bind the edges to prevent fraying. We can reduce the size of a rug when necessary. Lastly, we can repair worn areas of your rug.
Furniture Moving
We are happy to help you move furniture to access your rug and we’ll put everything back when we deliver your cleaned rug.
